ABOUT

WELCOME

Welcome to The Old Coastguard Cottage , perfectly situated on St Ann's Head, part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and just minutes  drive from the beautiful beaches of Marloes, Watwick and West Dale. The cottage is situated overlooking the entrance to Milford Haven towards Freshwater West so there's always something to see coming and going on the water.

SEE & DO

THINGS TO DO

St Ann's Head

With it's working lighthouse St Ann's Head is a vital part of the coastline. A private area, there are a handful of cottages with ours being the last, giving you a fantastic view over Milford Haven

Marloes

There's a great little shop, cafe's and pubs in the village at Marloes 10 minutes drive away. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the car park down a well surfaced track, boy is it worth the effort!

Dale

2 miles away, the village of Dale has a great community feel, you'll often find events and exhibitions. Sailing, paddling, kayaking, crabbing, cake in the Yacht Club and a pint at the pub are a must!

Skomer

Frequent boat trips depart from Martin's Haven and Dale for both visits to the island, fishing and wildlife safaris. A particular delight is the Puffins in the early Summer, dolphins and seals.

Watwick

Watwick beach is a 5 minute walk down a steep path from a little car parking area, unless you can get there by boat from Dale! Private and gorgeous at low tide, it's worth the walk.

West Dale

Scoured by the Atlantic waves West Dale is a great surf beach but beware the rip! The amount of sand differs from storm to storm, an easy walk across a field from Dale.

GUEST REVIEWS

"The cottage was fabulous. The kids had an amazing time learning to sail in Dale. There's so much to see and do and it was such a treat to know we were coming back to a lovely home every night.
